A DAC 112 UDM városi buszokat 1982-től 2000-ig gyártották, kisebb változtatásokkal. Kis idő után hamar elterjedté vált, rengeteget gyártottak belőle, minden Romániai nagy városba, megyeközpontba szállítottak belőle, 1989-ig szinte az egyetlen típus volt az országban. Később szintén meghatározó része volt a nagyvárosi tömegközlekedésnek az újonnan behozott, nagy részt Ikarus buszok mellett. Nagy utas kapacitásával, és tágas belső terével az utasok kedvence lehetett volna, ha nem lett volna annyira zajos és kényelmetlen... Ma már kezdenek eltünedezni, helyüket felváltják a korszerű, csendes és kényelmes buszok, azonban még mindig, szinte minden városban van még belőlük egy pár.
The DAC 112 UDM city buses were produced from 1982 to 2000, with small changes. Soon became general, it was produced in large number, and it was transported to all big city from Romania. To 1989 it was nearly the single type of city bus. Further on it was still popular, near the Ikarus buses. With the high passenger capacity and with the spacious inside, it could be the favorite bus of the passengers, but it was noisy and uncomfortable. In these days, these buses are disappearing from the streets, and new, modern buses came, but still, in every large city are some DAC 112 UDM buses.
